In Loving Memory Of:

Jazell Ervin-Johnson, cousin of Founder Amanda Clark. Jazell was a bright and beautiful 16-YEAR-OLD. A loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, cousin and friend. Amanda quotes the day of her passing that, “This had been the youngest death she had ever experienced.” Although regretfully, Amanda had not spent enough time with her cousin, she learned a couple of things that morning of Jazell’s funeral. One to make an effort to reach out to the ones you love while they are still present and two the enemy has no discrimination against trying to steal, kill and destroy God’s most precious people. Just like the 10.7% of the youth’s population in America Jazell fell victim in taking her own life. Amanda since then, was motivated to finally move forward with “Beauty for Ashes Workshop” all while keeping in mind her cousin Jazell by creating a safe and NON-JUDGEMENTAL environment for anyone else that may also be struggling with any mental health concerns. May Jazell’s life always keep you humble and aware that it cost nothing to show love and kindness.

Matthew 11:28-30

Come all who are weary and heavy burdened, and i will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. NIV
